Jim Wilgenbusch is Research Associate in the Department of Scientific Computing where he manages the Technical Support Group and he Directs FSU's Shared-High Performance Computing facility. Jim's research interests include a mix of theoretical and empirical problems related to phylogenetic inference



Paul van der Mark is the operations manager for FSU's shared-HPC facility and research faculty in the Department of Scientific Computing. Paul's research interests include computational biology and parallel computing. He is also a co-Author of
Kyle A. Gallivan is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics. His main interests are optimization on Riemannian manifolds, efficient numerical and non-numerical algorithms for large-scale problems, the theoretical and algorithmic aspects of dimension reduction for dynamical systems and large data-driven problems, the interaction of algorithms and architectures, and tools to support high-performance computing.
Wen Huang is a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics. He obtained a B.S. in Computational Science and Informatics in 2007 from the University of Science and Technology of China. His main interests are optimization on Riemannian manifolds, the theoretical and algorithmic aspects of dimension reduction of large data-driven problems, and algorithms for phylogenetics and shape analysis. He has industrial experience as a computer game designer with a specialty of integrating numerical methods to simulate physical phenomena.
